StripChain is looking for a Backend Engineer to join their team on a full time basis to lead the design and the protocol into production and maintain the distributed system and our architecture to welcome a new era of interoperability and architecture for building dapps.

You’ll be helping contribute to a cutting-edge distributed system, navigating nuanced trade-offs between latency, fault tolerance, and incentives.

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to the development and scaling of StripChain, specifically the StripVM, responsible for connecting different blockchains and for managing intents.
• Help launch and maintain our blockchain built on the arbitrum orbit chain.
• Develop and refine networking layers and P2P protocols to ensure high performance and reliability for our stripVM
• Maintain and enhance protocol services.
• Help build and integrate peripheral products in the ecosystem.
• Take charge of protocol documentation in the StripChain ecosystem.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets production-grade standards.
• Help write APIs and SDKs as we need.
• Give hands with the smart contract development and extra tools creation etc.

Who You Are

• 4-10 years of hands-on experience in building production-grade distributed systems, skilled in Go.
• Proven track record in designing scalable, high-throughput architectures.
• Extensive experience in end-to-end testing of consensus or distributed system protocols.
• Deep understanding of fault-tolerant systems, including Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) and other relevant models.
• Capable of independently leading projects and unifying cross-functional teams through exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Need to be loyal, dedicated, kind, patient.

Nice to have:

• Very strong blockchain fundamentals and can pick up new technologies and ecosystem fast
• Worked with Solidity or other smart contract languages.
• Experience in working with MPC libraries - do highlight in your application, if you do.

We’re seeking a passionate Research Engineer to join our Incubator team and help drive bleeding edge blockchain innovation. As a Research Engineer, you will play a pivotal role of an R&D generalist, taking ownership of various research, development, and deployment initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding blockchain technology, covering areas like (but not limited to): consensus mechanisms, Ethereum execution layer client improvements, etc.
• Design, develop, and deploy experimental proof of concept architecture for applications and solutions, with a particular focus on scaling technologies and complex integrations
• Execute end-to-end smart contract and infrastructure-related functionality deployments, including configuration of CI/CD pipelines and management of Docker components

We’re seeking an experienced Blockchain Platform Engineer to join our Presto team and help actively develop our cutting-edge platform product for seamless roll-up deployment and management. In addition to honing your engineering skills (70% coding, 30% DevOps), in this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and excel at the inner workings of different L2 stacks, including Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, and more!

• Drive the development (Python, Django) and optimization of the ever-evolving Presto product platform, ensuring pristine performance and customer experience

• Build smart contracts for custom tokens (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and implement governance mechanisms for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). You’ll create systems that allow decentralized voting, staking, and rewards distribution.

• Collaborate with the blockchain community by contributing to open-source projects and helping improve existing blockchain standards. You’ll participate in forums, GitHub discussions, and code reviews to push the boundaries of smart contract technology.

Required Skills:

• Smart Contract Development Expertise: Strong knowledge of smart contract development, including experience working with platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Solana. You’re proficient in Solidity, Rust, or Vyper and have built and deployed smart contracts for real-world applications.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Deep understanding of decentralized technologies, blockchain principles, and consensus mechanisms like Proof of Stake (PoS) or Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS). You’re familiar with layer 1 and layer 2 blockchain solutions.
• Security and Auditing: Experience conducting smart contract audits and ensuring the security of blockchain applications. You’re familiar with security vulnerabilities like reentrancy attacks, front-running, and integer overflows, and know how to prevent them.
• Gas Optimization and Efficiency: Expertise in optimizing smart contract code to minimize gas costs. You understand how to write efficient, scalable code that is both cost-effective and reliable on the blockchain.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with blockchain developers, cryptographers, and product teams. You’re skilled at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cryptography, Blockchain, or a related field. Equivalent experience in smart contract development is highly valued.
• Certifications or additional coursework in blockchain development or smart contract security are a plus.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in smart contract development, with hands-on experience writing, testing, and deploying contracts in a production environment.
• Proven experience building decentralized applications (dApps), DeFi protocols, or NFT platforms, including writing and optimizing smart contracts.
• Experience with blockchain tools like Truffle, Hardhat, Remix, or Brownie for smart contract development and testing is highly desirable.
