Your Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Developer Relations Engineer to become a key member of our team. As part of the Engineering team, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our Layer 2 solutions by contributing to the ecosystem with workshops, technical contents and building meaningful relationships with developers. At the same time you will be supporting the foundation departments when it comes down to their technical needs. If you stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly in the Ethereum ecosystem and you have a genuine passion for collaborating with developers, we would love to connect with you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, both within and outside the Arbitrum community. Act as a key point of contact for technical inquiries and support.
  • Advocacy and Community building: Serve as a passionate advocate for Arbitrum by developing and executing strategies to grow and nurture a vibrant developer community around Arbitrum. Organise meetups, webinars, workshops, and other events to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Contributing: Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and contribute to the open source ecosystem to help developers integrate with Arbitrum seamlessly. Deliver educational content through various channels.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from developers and relay it to our product and engineering teams. Advocate for developers’ needs and priorities within the organisation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and engineering, to align developer outreach with our strategic goals.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyse developer engagement metrics to measure the impact of developer relations efforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies.
  • Assess leads (e.g. grant proposals, product requirement documents, etc)  from a technical standpoint, focusing on the technical team capabilities, architecture and source code and the timeline credibility.
  • Contributing back to the ecosystem via open source contributions or the production of other educational materials

What You’ll Need

  • You are fluent in one or more general-purpose languages (e.g. Typescript, Python, Go, Rust, Java, etc)
  • Fundamentals of Solidity
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and EVM solutions.
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor in computer science or equivalent work experience

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related role in the tech industry, within the blockchain or cryptocurrency space.
  • Demonstrated experience in community building and engagement.
  • Prior commercial experience with Solidity
  • Exposure to Rust
  • Open-source contributor on the EVM space
  • You speak another language (e.g. Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Korean, Japanese)

The Role

We’re seeking a (Senior+/Principal/Architect) Full-Stack Engineer to lead technical development of our AI-powered verification platform. This is a high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to shape the future of expert + AI verification systems.

As our technical lead, you’ll own the entire stack and shape the team - from React frontend to Node.js backend, AI integrations, and upcoming blockchain Layer 2 implementation. You’ll architect scalable solutions, integrate cutting-edge AI models, and prepare our platform for decentralized blockchain deployment.

What You’ll Do

Technical Leadership

  • Lead full-stack development of our React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js/Express backend
  • Architect and implement AI integrations using our API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) system supporting OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek and other top models.
  • Design blockchain Layer 2 integration for decentralized verification and reward distribution
  • Optimize performance of our distributed verification network with real-time WebSocket communication
  • Implement advanced testing strategies including parallel test execution and comprehensive CI/CD pipelines

AI/ML Integration

  • Enhance our autonomous bot system that automatically processes questions and verifications using LLMs
  • Develop hybrid human-AI workflows with quality control thresholds and human oversight
  • Build AI-powered verification assistance tools for human verifiers

Blockchain Development

  • Architect and develop a decentralized solution for integration of tokens, incentives and rewards across L1 and L2.

System Architecture

  • Scale our PostgreSQL database with advanced query optimization and connection pooling
  • Enhance our real-time communication systems with WebSocket reliability and performance

  • Design microservices architecture for horizontal scaling

What You Bring

Required Technical Skills

  • 5+ years full-stack development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, and Go or Rust or C/C++ for high performance node development.
  • Expert-level React/TypeScript with advanced state management (TanStack Query preferred)
  • Strong Node.js/Express backend development with real-time systems experience
  • Database expertise with PostgreSQL or MySQL, complex queries, and ORM frameworks (Drizzle preferred)
  • AI/ML integration experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM providers
  • Blockchain development with Solidity, EVM, Ethereum Layer 2 solutions (Polygon, Arbitrum, or Optimism)
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines
