We’re backed by top investors in the space and value expertise, creativity, autonomy, and deep technical curiosity.

We are looking for a Fullstack Blockchain Developer to join our core engineering team. The role is full-time, ideally based in Paris, but remote-friendly for the right candidate.

What you’ll do

As a Fullstack Developer at Mangrove, you will be responsible for building both frontend interfaces and backend services, and we mean it. This is a true fullstack role where you’ll be central to the project’s success, supporting Mangrove’s new CLOB-as-a-Service branch, already backed by several top-tier partners.

You will:

  • Build modular, performant frontends (React/Next.js) and cleanly integrate with backend and smart contracts
  • Design and maintain backend services (Node.js/TypeScript) supporting complex trading logic
  • Collaborate with smart contract engineers to bridge protocol mechanics with user-facing tools
  • Develop and implement new strategies based on research insights
  • Contribute to Mangrove’s technical and product direction
  • Scale, monitor, test, and optimize production systems in a fast-paced DeFi environment

Requirements

  • Solid full-stack Web3 dev (frontend + backend)
  • DeFi and crypto power user, eager to learn
  • Expert in React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks
  • Skilled with EVM contracts using ethers.js, wagmi, or viem
  • Experience with Hono, Ponder, and on-chain data indexing
  • Built and shipped live DeFi products with real users
  • Clean, tested code; autonomous and fast-paced mindset
  • Fluent in English and partially available during CET hours

Nice to have

  • Experience with smart contract development (Solidity)
  • Passion for DeFi, trading, or low-level protocol design

What does Mangrove offer?

  • Competitive salary + equity/tokens
  • High-impact, full-ownership role
  • Full autonomy to build and ship
  • Work with a top-tier team, including PhDs and DeFi veterans
  • Team retreats and conferences
  • Shape the future of on-chain trading

How to apply

We keep it simple:

  1. Apply – Send us your GitHub, portfolio, CV, or any project you’re proud of
  2. Intro call – 20 minutes to get to know each other
  3. Technical test – Tailored to your full-stack Web3 skills
  4. Final interview – Meet the team and dive deeper
  5. Offer – Welcome to the team
