About the team
The Proof of Personhood team is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Polkadot's decentralized proof of personhood mechanism based on novel ZK cryptography to maintain privacy for participants. This involves implementing cutting edge methods for determining a person's individuality and features available only to proven people, such as Sybil-resistant voting.
About the position
We are looking for new engineers to join the Proof of Personhood team. In this position, you will:
Design and implement the people-related business logic that will be used for the Polkadot Proof of Personhood protocol and teams building applications on it
Work on complex, multi-chain problems
Work with ZK cryptography to innovate and find new ways of providing decentralized and privacy-focused functionality to recognized people
Design end-to-end test suites to test multi-chain applications
About you
Work autonomously and solve problems independently
Collaborate with others in an open-source culture, work well with peer review as a reviewer and reviewee
Possess a good understanding of system design and an ability to work with complex systems
Take ownership of their work and be responsible for outcomes. They know that finishing a project doesn’t mean finishing the first version of the code. They evangelise their work and seek and incorporate feedback

Have good communication skills, they can present their work in “plain English” in blog posts or conferences
