About Nimbus

Nimbus is a research team that focuses on developing an Ethereum client and library. We believe that the largest deployment of Ethereum will potentially be on embedded systems and Nimbus is designed to perform well on embedded, mobile and generally resource-restricted devices.

Building the stack from the ground up, we’re translating the latest Ethereum research into practical, performant and reusable libraries to provide a fertile exploration ground for further R&D.

About Nomos

Nomos is a new blockchain designed from the ground up with the original cypherpunk ethos: decentralisation, censorship resistance, permissionless-ness and privacy. It will serve as the trustless agreements layer of the Logos stack. The forthcoming Nomos network will provide a common infrastructure layer upon which communities and aspiring network states can build social, governance, and financial services that uphold their community members’ fundamental rights and values.

The role & responsibilities:

You will join the Nimbus team but work closely with Nomos to consume and provide feedback on specifications, ensuring a deep understanding of both projects. As a founding member of the Nimbus-Nomos team, you will also contribute to early architectural design and foundational decision-making.

You will:

• Develop a deep understanding of Nimbus and Nomos, including their architectures and designs.
• Consume specifications from Nomos and provide feedback where necessary.
• Collaborate with the Nimbus team to address complex, non-incremental challenges in the specifications, rather than relying on scoping smaller tasks to learn the codebase.

The Team

We're looking for a mid-level Frontend Software Engineer to join our remote-first team at Cryptio. In this role, you'll write production-grade TypeScript code and contribute to the development and maintenance of our front-end frameworks, design systems, and components. You’ll also play a key role in improving our testing setup.

You’ll work closely with our Frontend Lead on defining the roadmap, setting priorities, and conducting technical research. You'll also help shape and build new product features that bring real value to our users.

IFT is seeking an AI Operations Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for decentralisation. This role is key to supporting the deployment, management, and coordination of AI-driven tools and systems across all of our projects. You’ll play a hands-on role in making AI systems function smoothly while interfacing across engineering, research and operations.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves to tinker with new tech, enjoys working with both code & people; someone who isn’t afraid of a steep learning curve. You’ll help to implement cutting-edge AI application pilots across the organisation to help capture success metrics, including; AI agents for financial summaries, automated onboarding for hiring, AI-powered analytics for portfolio management and querying internal knowledge systems.

AI Tooling & Deployment

• Implement and support day-to-day operations of AI tools across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Preferably, experience working with open-source communities or projects
• High emotional intelligence and proven stakeholder relationship management skills; comfortable interfacing with both deeply technical and non-technical contributors at IFT.

Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive testing best practices. What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering experience with a focus on testing. Proficiency in programming languages like TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, with the ability to develop robust and reusable test scripts. Ability/desire to write Unit Tests in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js Proven ability to analyze and debug complex codebases, troubleshoot multi-tier web architecture issues, and identify root causes of failures. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
