We’re looking for an FPGA Code Engineering Support specialist to help design, implement, and optimize low-level logic on FPGAs used in our high-performance networking systems. You’ll work alongside protocol engineers, network architects, and hardware partners to build and support custom compute and switching infrastructure that powers the DoubleZero network.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and debug FPGA code (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) for custom hardware

As a Protocol Research Engineer at Raiku, you’ll dive deep into Solana’s consensus mechanisms, validator dynamics, and block-building edge cases to help push the boundaries of what’s possible on-chain. Be part of a devops team, dedicated to building internal platforms. Work closely with internal teams to improve the system reliability, scalability and  developer productivity Engage in and improve the infrastructure quality supporting the platform. Build and manage systems, infrastructure and applications through automation. Provide operational support to internal teams working on the platform. Work on improvements to bring in high efficiency, reduce latency, deploy systems faster. Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems. Together with your engineering team, you will share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents.

 Minimum Qualification

Bachelors with 5+ years of working experience as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / Devops Engineer Experience with programming. Preferably Python, or Go. Knowledge of Linux internals and bash scripting. Strong skills around observability, debugging and performance tuning, willing to dive into understanding, debugging, and improving any layer of the stack. Strong experience in managing infrastructure with cloud providers like AWS. Experience in container orchestration systems like kubernetes.  Strong experience in Observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana etc Experience in standards devops tools for infrastructure management (terraform/opentofu etc), CI/CD (ArgoCD, Jenkins etc)

Preferred Qualification

Expertise in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform. Expertise in devops tooling like Jenkins, ArgoCD, github actions Expertise in advanced observability (USE-RED signals, Tracing, front end observability etc) and monitoring stacks, preferably Grafana stack.  Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive. Extensive experience in supporting production systems as SRE. Experience in setting up monitoring stack for process and docker based environments. Role

• Setup, maintain and monitor fleets of blockchain nodes for Nirvana’s global customer base.
• Build and maintain scaleable and flexible automations for running blockchain nodes and internal monitoring services.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• In a time zone between PT to ET (UTC-8 to UTC-5)
• Proficient in scripting (i.e. Bash) and automation frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef)
• 4+ years of proven experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Experience managing and optimizing bare-metal servers.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in creating and maintaining blockchain RPC nodes (e.g. Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana etc.)
• Knowledgeable in deploying services reliably using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, TravisCI, or Jenkins.
• Proficient with monitoring and logging tools (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana etc).
• Experience with Git-based systems for code and configuration management.
• Knowledge of various blockchain protocols and standards.
• Awareness of cybersecurity practices relevant to blockchain and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in creating automation tasks and internal tooling using Golang.
• Active contributions to relevant open source blockchain projects.
• Certifications for cloud providers, Kubernetes, or security certifications.
• Familiarity with a variety of blockchain environments.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
