Role

IFT is seeking an AI Operations Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for decentralisation. This role is key to supporting the deployment, management, and coordination of AI-driven tools and systems across all of our projects. You’ll play a hands-on role in making AI systems function smoothly while interfacing across engineering, research and operations.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves to tinker with new tech, enjoys working with both code & people; someone who isn’t afraid of a steep learning curve. You’ll help to implement cutting-edge AI application pilots across the organisation to help capture success metrics, including; AI agents for financial summaries, automated onboarding for hiring, AI-powered analytics for portfolio management and querying internal knowledge systems.

Key Responsibilities

AI Tooling & Deployment

• Implement and support day-to-day operations of AI tools across multiple teams.
• Manage and monitor AI agents in production environments.
• Build and maintain pipelines for model deployment and iteration.

Cross-team Collaboration

• Interface with engineering, research, and operations teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Help teams articulate their needs and translate them into scalable AI workflows.
• Prioritise AI tasks by mapping them to real operational pain points.

Optimisation & Documentation

• Create documentation and support feedback loops for internal tools.
• Continuously evaluate and improve AI tool performance and user experience.
• Help build the systems and culture of an “AI-native” organisation.

Requirements

• 3–7 years in technical operations, DevOps, or IT with hands-on exposure to software tooling and automation workflows.
• Strong technical grounding: able to grasp key AI/ML concepts, data structures, APIs, and system architecture.
• Experience in, and/or a passion for Web3 & Blockchain technology
• Preferably, experience working with open-source communities or projects
• High emotional intelligence and proven stakeholder relationship management skills; comfortable interfacing with both deeply technical and non-technical contributors at IFT.
• Curiosity and humility, you should be willing to unlearn conventional ops models to help shape a native-AI org.
• Understanding of modern LLM tooling and platforms — e.g. LangChain, OpenAI APIs, vector databases (like Pinecone, Weaviate), and orchestration tools (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen).
• Strong organizational skills and operational intuition.

Previous experience working in agile, iterative, and distributed environments.

Compensation

Develop end-to-end (E2E) test cases for complex workflows, ensuring reliability of consensus protocols and smart contract execution. Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, improve testing workflows, and troubleshoot dependency failures. Build and maintain internal tools to improve developer experience, productivity, and test efficiency. Troubleshoot highly complex automated testing failures using industry-standard frameworks and custom tools, working with developers and backend partners to triage issues and improve E2E reliability. Develop monitoring tools and utilities to track blockchain-specific performance metrics and test results. Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive testing best practices. Continuously research and adopt innovative tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies to improve quality, scalability, and efficiency of testing processes.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering experience with a focus on testing. Proficiency in programming languages like TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, with the ability to develop robust and reusable test scripts. Ability/desire to write Unit Tests in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js Proven ability to analyze and debug complex codebases, troubleshoot multi-tier web architecture issues, and identify root causes of failures. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Expertise in defining and implementing release, regression, and smoke testing strategies for large, multi-team applications. Experience with white-box testing methodologies to ensure deep validation of internal components. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, particularly in analyzing blockchain-specific issues. You have a tester mindset, are curious, and excel at designing innovative and interesting test scenarios. You are creative in applying proven tools/test frameworks as well as crafting new solutions to challenging problems. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear bug reporting and collaboration across teams.

We'd Love If You Have:

Experience with testing decentralized applications (dApps), consensus protocols, or blockchain platforms. Experience in running nodes within blockchain networks and monitoring performance metrics. Familiarity with blockchain tools and frameworks (e.g., Web3.js, Hardhat, Truffle). Hands-on knowledge and experience with AI tools (Cursor, Github Copilot, Windsurf, Cline, etc...), and the ability to demonstrate how you utilize them in your day to day. Contributions to open-source projects related to testing, automation, or blockchain. A passion for emerging technologies, including Web3, AI, and distributed systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs for our casino platform
• Manage and optimize databases for scalability and efficiency
• Ensure high performance and low latency in a high-load environment
• Implement robust security measures to protect user data and transactions
• Develop and integrate new functionalities into our platform
• Work closely with the front-end, DevOps, and external teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Optimize and fine-tune gaming logic, mathematical models, and calculations to ensure accurate gameplay mechanics, as well as support real-time dashboard KPIs and data visualizations

Skills & Attributes

• Tech stack: Strong experience with Node.js, plus expertise in SQL, Redis, Web3, AWS is a plus
• Understanding of high-load systems and real-time data processing
• Experience designing and optimizing database structures
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles and security best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for mathematical logic and calculations
• Familiarity with iGaming industry mechanics is a must—understanding game engines, odds calculations, and player transaction flows
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a distributed team
• Experience integrating blockchain/Web3 technologies is beneficial

As a Frontend Engineer on the Nascent engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and building the user interfaces that power our trading platform. From creating elegant, high-performance UI in React to collaborating across the stack, you’ll help shape products that enable our team to move fast and operate at their best. You’ll contribute to a lean, agile development team—owning components end to end, bringing clarity to ambiguous problems, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through creative solutions and sharp execution.

• Design and build world-class UI for the next phase of our trading platform, enabling our team to do their best work

• Previous experience in creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, ideally for complex financial applications.
• UX Design Skills with experience in tooling such as InVision, Figma, Balsamiq.
• Have built trading and/or financial applications in the past (through experience, hobby or project work).
