Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The team builds UI components for mobile and web in TypeScript and based on React and React Native. We use Linaria for styling, Percy for visual regression testing, Storybook for developing and testing components in isolation, Docusaurus for our documentation, etc. We integrate heavily with Figma to make the designer/developer collaboration smoother.
Developer Experience (DevX) is responsible for making sure all engineers at Coinbase build high-quality products while being productive and engaged. What we look for in you:
- You have at least 2+ years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.
- You've developed and shipped user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
- You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability.
- You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with AI, Codegen, ML, Figma
- Experience building Design Systems (look for keywords such as React, CSS, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, Linaria, Storybook, etc.). Experience with UI animation (Lottie, Rive). Experience with tools for design, accessibility or visual regression testing (Figma, Framer, Percy, BrowerStack).
