About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Kotlin Android developer to join our engineering team to build our highly anticipated Android app. Teleport currently operates on iOS so you will be working closely with our lead iOS engineer and product designer to make sure the Android app can match the iOS app in functionality and design.
This role will report to the VP of Engineering and will need to collaborate regularly with the engineering team. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Test features for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage application crashes and bugs using appropriate tracking tools.

Requirements

  • Proven software development experience and Android skills development using Kotlin.

As a software engineer on the Blockchain Integrations team, you will own the integrations of upcoming blockchains into the Chainlink platform, working directly and building relations with the founding engineers while gaining expertise in each new innovative ecosystem. Your Impact:

    • Own the end to end integration of Chainlink products including CCIP and Data Streams to new cutting edge blockchains to enable exponential growth of the network
    • Lead viability research to assess compatibility and coordinate integration through chain-specific node development, token bridging, deployments, monitoring, tooling, and testing
    • Work collaboratively with industry leaders, developers, users, and the web 3 community
    • Work closely with node operators to connect their Chainlink nodes to new blockchains
    • Support components and service layers to sustainability scale and support integrated blockchains

Requirements:

    • 5-8+ years of experience working in software development
