You will work on building out the next generation of Agora's governance applications focusing on the product, scaling it, and end user experience. You will work closely with our head of engineering, head of design and head of product, to build and own features end to end. This includes working on the front-end, having strong opinions on where the data should live in the backend and giving yourself and the team leverage writing automated tests and good docs.
2025 will be a big year for Agora with dozens of new customers already committed and lots of improvements on the contracts, architecture, data layer and mobile experience. Your days will be filled with challenging and rewarding work that you will be proud of.
Agora operates as a remote, distributed team with headquarters in San Francisco. We gather quarterly for full-team offsites held in various locations across the country. Although our team is globally distributed, we work during US-friendly hours, specifically in the PST/EST time zones.

This person will help resolve problems, offer mentorship, and ensure the team delivers clean, maintainable code while avoiding over-complication. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Professional experience in software development, systems integration, or blockchain technology using EVM based architecture Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledger technologies Passion and interest in security best practices within distributed systems and dApp development Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript and Solidity and best practices for smart contract development Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to evolving requirements Ability to rapidly build and present PoC’s in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value Passion for the blockchain ecosystem and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
