Tldr: A new protocol, nearing launch, straddling the worlds of web3 (Ethereum, then beyond) and stablecoins. This role demands deep knowledge and enthusiasm about both. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and company leadership to recruit and support key partners, inform strategy and accelerate our roadmap. You’ll need to be relentlessly creative and optimistic — hustling the $#!% out of any potential opportunity to build Eco’s influence and maximize serendipity around the project. Read on if these things excite you. About Eco: Eco Inc. exists to maximize money’s value — to reclaim value lost to the current financial system and make sure crypto and web3 actually bring us money without borders. We expect better from our money, and we want you to as well. That’s what drives us every day. We’re focused on contributing to the new Eco protocol 👀 and building Bend. Eco enables any onchain action to be a simple, one-click stablesend. With Eco, apps can easily accept anyone’s preferred stablecoin, regardless of the network — unlocking stablecoin liquidity from any connected chain and giving users the simplest onchain experience. To make this possible, the Eco Protocol brings together Routes, Accounts, and Crowd Liquidity (coming soon) to give app developers the ultimate flexibility while prioritizing speed, cost, and security. Bend is the product we build to demonstrate what the protocol makes possible — to show that we can build a seamless payment experience that anyone can use with web3 today. With both the Eco Protocol and Bend, we continue to push the boundary of what crypto enables and just how powerful the user experience can be. We’re a team of 20 hell-bent on doing our very best work (individually and together), solving hard problems, staying optimistic, and believing money should be better.
As Head of DevRel at Eco, you will:
Develop the foundational components of Eco’s developer relations capability, including the development of team processes, the requisite tech stack, the goals for Eco and Bend, and more Grow Eco’s developer community strategy for both online (e.g., forum, socials, etc.) and offline channels (e.g., events, meetups, etc.), and encourage the use of the Eco Protocol Be a face of the Eco protocol and our Bend product, and an expert on both of them, to developers and technical decision makers throughout the web3 space Build relationships with key technical stakeholders to ensure that the developer community grows at a competitive pace Create developer success stories with Eco, lead demos and talks (e.g., keynotes, panels, workshops) at events, create content for social media, etc. that maximize technical awareness amongst the broader developer audience Establish measurement capabilities to ensure that developer relations programs are meeting (and exceeding) company and product goals Ensure that all developer-facing content and collateral (e.g., Eco Docs, technical diagrams, etc.) maintain high effectiveness and quality
We’re looking for you if:
You have previous successful experience (i.e., a company with a proven track record with success milestones related to product or acquisition) as a tech startup operator in a similar business development leadership role You have a demonstrated track record as an operator at lean DevRel (or other relevant teams), ensuring that executions as detailed as developer-focused content and collateral to broader, larger growth campaigns are executed at the highest level You have experience taking a DevRel function zero:one, as well as managing and scaling DevRel teams. You’re not done yet; you want to go back to early stage, with all the hustle that requires You’re highly proficient with DevRel tech tools and other general digital organizational tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, etc.)
Nice-to-haves
3+ years of experience in Web3 or high, provable passion for Web3 Web3 product strategy experience Large social following, especially on Twitter and LinkedIn, or offset by an existing network of possible leads for Eco Power user of Web3 products Benefits of working at Eco:

We’re building software that makes it easy for the most innovative blockchain applications to launch their own ultra-performant blockchains (rollups), enabling applications to own their ecosystem, scale to millions of users, and provide a superior user experience to their players.
We’re located in San Francisco and New York, and work in-person or remotely.
