What you’ll be responsible for:

Working on enhancing the UI of our new Web3 Services Console, you will have a pivotal role in optimizing the user interface for a seamless and user-friendly experience. Your responsibilities include developing sample applications and SDKs for both existing and upcoming product offerings from Circle to facilitate easy integration for developers. Additionally, you will focus on building internal tools to empower our Customer Success Management in providing exceptional customer support.

As a member of dedicated teams at Circle, your active contribution to the broader frontend ecosystem will involve participating in code reviews to uphold code quality and ensure consistency across projects. Collaborating with peers to align strategies and share best practices, your ultimate goal is to create exceptional developer and user experiences that are not only intuitive but also robust and scalable. This collaborative effort includes working closely with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into tangible features that meet user needs effectively.

What you'll bring to Circle:

• 2+ years experience building user interfaces for complex applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in NodeJS is a plus.
• Experience building responsive, component-based web apps with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)
• A keen sense of knowing when a feature “works” and when it can be improved.
• A focus on coding standards and code quality -- a desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with remote teams, share ideas and present concepts effectively

Base Pay Range: $120,000 - $162,500

Annual Bonus Target: 10%

Role Summary:

We’re seeking a Tech Lead dedicated to enhancing the Almond Development Team experience. As a Tech Lead in our Engineering team, you will focus on crafting high-quality and resilient solutions while upholding coding standards, code quality, and best engineering practices. Experience working with cryptocurrency is essential as our projects involve crypto technology.

This role will help develop robust and scalable solutions that integrate with various crypto platforms in order to gather real-time data and analyze market trends. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure the reliability and accuracy of financial forecasts and projections. This role will cater to a growing international customer base, adeptly conveying technical trade-offs, complexities, and design options while working as part of a remote team spanning the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review code using Java, Spring, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQS, and AWS
• Architect, design, and develop projects from end to end
• Guide teams in decision-making regarding architecture, patterns, tools, frameworks, and languages
• Stay current with emerging technologies through active learning and experimentation with new open-source libraries
• Develop a strong understanding of key agile engineering practices to guide teams and contribute to the growth and improvement of our engineering practices, building on our automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices
• Collaborate with other engineers to prioritize and ship features

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software development using Java, Spring, and related technologies
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Technology Lead or a similar role
• Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies, including NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Experience with AWS services and cloud deployment
• Prior experience working with cryptocurrency and related technologies
• Knowledge of blockchain concepts and protocols
• Experience integrating cryptocurrency payment gateways or wallets
• Understanding of cryptographic principles and security measures in software development
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of Frontend Technologies: While primarily backend-focused, having a solid understanding of frontend technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js can be beneficial.
