Tasks

AI/ML Backend Developer (Blockchain-Focused) Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented AI/ML Backend Developer to design and implement AI-driven features into our blockchain ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and deploying machine learning models, managing large-scale data pipelines, and working closely with our blockchain engineering team to deliver intelligent backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for crypto data analysis, fraud detection, and smart automation.
• Build scalable backend systems and APIs that integrate AI capabilities.
• Handle large volumes of data from blockchain transactions and user interactions.
• Work with cross-functional teams including blockchain engineers, DevOps, and product managers.
• Monitor and optimize model performance in production environments.

Requirements

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience in specifically in AI/ML projects
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
• Strong backend development skills using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of blockchain architecture and smart contract interaction.
• Version control using Git and containerization with Docker.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Solidity, Rust, or blockchain smart contract languages.
• Experience with MLOps, model serving, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment.

Level of studies: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.

Language Requirements: Fluent in English

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

Developing distributed data applications which involves data mining, data transformations, enrichment, and analytics Analyzing and interpreting complex datasets related to workplace and applications usages and user activity Translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations that drive continuous improvement Having discussions with product managers, UX designers, and other backend teams to understand requirements and translate the same into functional specifications Seizing every opportunity to refactor code in the interests of maintainability and reusability

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications):

5+ years of experience in software development and data analytics application Strong experience in Java programming for developing microservices Proficiency with data science tools and platforms such as Python, TensorFlow, SQL, data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or similar Experience with Cloud big data technologies such as Azure Data Explorer, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, S3 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
