We are seeking an experienced Blockchain/crypto Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in continuing to uphold and continue building out any backend systems that support our L2. You will work on architecting and developing scalable backend services that push the limits of current technology, enabling seamless and high-performance applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop backend services and infrastructure for our Layer 2 blockchain solutions using NodeJS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver robust blockchain applications.
- Ensure the security of our platform by implementing industry best practices and conducting thorough audits.
- Improve existing systems for high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code, ensuring the maintainability and scalability of our services.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in blockchain technology and contribute to strategic discussions.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend systems.
- Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining production-grade systems with a service-oriented architecture and with high scalability.
- Experience with systems programming; expertise in NodeJS is a must.
- Proficiency in building and executing services within AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Solidity and the Ethereum ecosystem.
- Good at designing databases, both SQL and NoSQL based on requirements and for big ecosystems.
- Ability to design high availability systems with fast data processing.
- Passion for blockchain technology and its potential to transform the financial landscape.
Nice to Have:
- Experience decomposing a large system into microservices.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies like Docker, Golang, Postgres.
- Background in developing financial, high-reliability, or security systems.
- Previous experience in a fast-growing startup environment.
