The Head of Developer Relations will play a pivotal role in shaping the developer ecosystem around TON, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for developers building on the network. You will lead a global team of advocates and technical educators, foster meaningful relationships with the developer community, and advocate for creating innovative products on the TON blockchain. This role involves a blend of community-building, technical expertise, and leadership to scale the TON developer community and ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand a global Developer Relations team, including developer advocates, educators, and community managers.
- Foster a vibrant community of developers passionate about building applications on the TON blockchain.
- Collaborate closely with engineering blockchain developers and provide accurate feedback on developer tools, languages, and other technical aspects.
- Oversee continuous improvements in developer tools and ensure a seamless feedback loop between the community and engineering teams.
- Organize and manage developer events such as hackathons, contests, conferences, and community meetups to drive engagement and innovation.
- Monitor and maintain community standards.
- Drive content strategy for developer marketing materials, including tutorials, documentation, and onboarding guides.
- Strengthen developer engagement channels (Telegram, X, GitHub, etc.), ensuring active participation and resolution of technical inquiries.
- Implement and iterate on strategies to enhance developer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the developer onboarding lead to create a smooth entry experience for new developers joining the TON ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or developer advocacy role.
- Strong technical background, with Web3 development experience and understanding of blockchain technologies.
- Proven experience in open-source communities, preferably as an active contributor or maintainer.
