About the team The Payments team is responsible for delivering a highly scalable, secure, high-performance, and compliant payment system that supports numerous currencies and payment methods worldwide. This team forms the backbone of our financial operations, playing a crucial role in driving revenue growth, enabling global expansion, and strengthening customer trust. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions in alignment with project requirements and company standards. Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Actively engage in hands-on coding and development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts and project updates. Provide technical leadership, guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development. Experience with Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies. Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guiding teams. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of building and operating highly scalable payments processing systems. Experience working in a regulated environment, meeting high standards of compliance and trust.
Experience with Node.js, TypeScript and related technologies.
